Many of these dogs arrive carrying worry, confusion or tension in their bodies as they adjust to their new environments. This program was created to support that transition with simple, gentle bodywork techniques that help dogs feel safe, grounded and understood. This free program is offered exclusively to foster carers and recent adopters in collaboration with Starting Over Dog Rescue, Forever Friends Animal Rescue and Dog at Heart. In it, we've put together a series of easy, beginner-friendly routines inspired by TTouch bodywork. Each routine focuses on helping dogs settle, soften and build trust at their own pace by supporting emotional regulation and nervous system stability. Inside the program, you will find: • Guided video routines you can do on the couch or floor • Settling routines for new environments and experiences • Ways to use touch to create predictability and comfort during big life changes Everything is designed to be slow, supportive and accessible for any foster household. No prior experience required. This program does not replace veterinary care but complements your rescue’s behavioural and welfare practices by helping dogs feel more secure as they prepare for or join their forever homes. If you’re fostering or have recently adopted a dog, we are honoured to walk alongside you in this stage of their journey. A few gentle moments each day can make a meaningful difference as they learn that the world (and your home) is a safe place to just exist in.
